"Koncert Jankiela"
Jan is working on a new composition which has been commissioned by Adam Mickiewicz Institute. "Koncert Jankiela", a composition for four cimbaloms and chamber orchestra, will have it's world premiere on July 3rd at the National Philharmonic, Warsaw.
The "Jankiel Concerto" will be performed by Sinfonia Varsovia, conducted by Marc Minkowski.
"O.O." New composition for Warsaw Rising anniversary.
New composition by Jan for the 67th anniversary of the Warsaw Rising will have it's premier on July 29th in Warsaw.
March 31rd Press conference about Transatlantyk – Poznan International Film and Music Festival was held in Poznan.
In the City Hall of Poznan the conference was held attended by: Jan AP Kaczmarek, Ryszard Grobelny, President of Poznan, Slawomir Hinc, Vice President of Poznan, Paweł Pawlik, Program Vice Director, radio RMF Classic.
Jan received a platinum record for an album "Kaczmarek by Mozdzer" (Universal Music Polska)
"Kaczmarek by Mozdzer" is a recap of a ten year colaboration of two great artists: Jan A.P. Kaczmarek and Leszek Mozdzer. The album includes scores to films like Adrian Lyne's Unfaithful, Agnieszka Holland's The Third Miracle, Lasse Hallström's Hachi, Lajos Koltai's Evening, Janusz Kaminski's Lost Souls and Oscar winning music from Marc Forster's Finding Neverland. Several tracks have never been available on CD until this album.

Adam Mickiewicz Institute in Warsaw was the setting for a press conference announcing TRANSATLANTYK International Film and Music Festival.
Representatives of the City of Poznan, the Festival’s Main Patron, President Ryszard Grobelny and Vice President Slawomir Hinc were in attendance, joined by Magdalena Wojewoda, Program Director for RMF Classic and Pawel Potoroczyn, Adam Mickiewicz Institute Director.
